Pretty in Print Art Ltd, was founded in 2017 by me, Rachael. We are UK-based company specialising in wall art prints for nurseries and children's rooms. Our collection features both modern and vintage art designs, including themes like animals, space, and classic literature characters such as Babar the Elephant and Winnie the Pooh. Each piece is professionally printed on fine art paper using archival inks to ensure lasting quality. In addition to unframed prints, we offer a selection of vintage inspired framed art with various frame options such as antique gold, wood, ornate frames and frames hand painted in Farrow & Ball.
Beyond children's decor, we also provide vintage art reproductions suitable for other areas of the home, such as the living room, kitchen, bedroom hallway etc. which are shipped globally.
How It All Started
In the early days, I worked closely with Scandiborn.co.uk, creating modern nursery art which complimented their Scandi inspired toy and nursery decor offering. These early designs of giraffe, elephant, lion and other jungle inspired prints are still as popular today as they were back in 2017.
During the first three years of running the business, my husband and I battled infertility, eventually deciding to move on and live a child free life. It took its toll running a nursery art business, spending my days building nursery furniture and setting up children's bedrooms, whilst managing the inevitable mental health difficulties that come with trying for a baby, and never succeeding...
Fast forward to 2023, and we manage to purchase our first house... a nice distraction in the form of a big, six bed, renovation project in south Devon. We now fill any spare time we have doing DIY, figuring out how to fix various forms of damp and dreaming of the gorgeous house it will be.... one day......!
Needless to say, since purchasing a 1915 period home, I'm fully indulging in all things "vintage interior". It felt natural to soft-launch Pip & Co Vintage, alongside my existing art collections, to inject my passion for antique style art. I'm only just getting started with Pip & Co, but expect stunning vintage frames, lovingly restored antique artwork and products made by UK based artisanal studios. It's the new distraction I needed, and I hope you all love it as much as I do!
